Extravagant fabrics, wallpaper and upholstery in combination with very rough (almost primitive) textures and finishes, give Westlake’s suki flexible space the interior capability to function in three capacities-as a restaurant, sushi bar or dance club. The challenge of melding an organic environment with a fine dining feel is resolved with the log light framed sushi bar that captures both languages perfectly.

Large pine trees were cut into 30 logs (rough bark included), with the bottoms carved out in order to place recessed LED lighting to transform the magnificent logs into unique light fixtures. Beneath these lit logs, guests dine on fine sushi in upholstered swivel chairs for perfectly earthy, yet modern experience.
