Riot House is a South Beach-themed nightclub and restaurant, Riot Hospitality Group’s newest concept, located in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. The objective was to create a ”funky” Miami Beach-inspired day club that could easily transform into a high energy nightclub in the evenings.

We played around with tropical elements and layered them with bohemian components. This included enlarged tropical prints, pastel fabrics, basket woven light fixtures and tons of tropical foliage. Although we were inspired by 80’s popular culture such as “Miami Vice” and  “Scarface”, we didn’t want the space to become overly contrived or theme based.  We, therefore, created our own unique interpretation of a “tropical party wonderland”. This was achieved by combining a mix of architectural elements such as midcentury modern, “hippie bohemian” and organic design.

We are extremely happy with the outcome as the finished space is uplifting, super fun and filled with positive energy.
