P-6 puts the urban in suburban for the Los Angeles community of Westlake. In order to create a comfortable, yet chic interior environment, organic and earthy materials including stone, wood and bamboo have been used, as well as water features and fresh interior landscaping. As an original design, the L-shaped backlit bar soffit is made of a hollow steel frame clad with semi-opaque acrylic panels, when lit from the hidden light source within the frame, creates a spectacular glowing wood grain effect.
