Liaison will be Hollywood’s newest nightlife venture.
Do you remember Les Deux, the celebrity-riddled nightclub forever immortalized by some of the most dramatic scenes to take place in The Hills? If not that’s okay, as the concept closed back in 2010 before reopening for a few years as Sadie Kitchen. Well now the newest iteration of the space, dubbed Liaison Restaurant + Lounge, is due to open in January 2017.
Helming the kitchen is chef Nick Barainca who cut his teeth everywhere from Melisse to the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire to the long gone AK in Venice. Barainca will offer a menu of seasonal sharable plates that will take the form of dishes such as kuri squash fritters, sprouted winter grains, steamed root cakes, and sweet potatoes baked in salt meringue.
As for the expansive 10,000 indoor/outdoor space with dinner seating for 125, Liaison will incorporate elements of fire, wood, rope, and water in the Davis Ink design. Add in an LED wall and two full-service bars, and you have all the makings for a transition from dinner to evening festivities.
