The Davis Ink Family started when husband Davis Krumins, and wife Andrea Krumins decided to open a business focusing on creating environments for people to enjoy and feel good in, while experiencing a “WTF Twist”.  Our goal was/ and is to offer an alternative perspective & approach to the norm. As a family business, we understand the importance of teamwork. Our team is small, yet able to take on large or small projects effectively and efficiently, creating the best possible outcome in a cost- effective way.

As the creative entity behind the interior design of some of most unique hospitality and nightclub venues, the Davis Ink Family prides ourselves on maintaining a hands-on approach with every project, ensuring the outcome will bypass any pre-conceived expectations.

Davis Krumins began his career as an artist and furniture designer. Fascinated by progressive and modern architecture, he went on to earn his master’s degree in architecture from California Polytechnic University. When designing, Davis prides himself in the ability to fuse contradicting genres and materials into something that just works. It is not uncommon to find Davis himself at the jobsite, with a saw and wood in hand.

Davis wanted to create a working environment based on playful imagination and big ideas….with an occasional “WTF” moment thrown in. In 2002, Davis & Andrea joined forces to create Davis Ink Ltd.

Andrea Krumins is the artistic and dynamic glue that holds Davis Ink together. With her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University

Fullerton, CA. She is one tough cookie, and is the driving force behind all of Davis Ink’s ordering, project managing, and business administration.

An artist her whole life, Andrea applies that creativity to help solve some of Davis Ink’s biggest design conundrums. She is the backbone, ensuring that clients have a smooth and wonderful experience, and end up with a project to be proud of.

Andrea is a multi-tasker between work and family, and has a blast everyday doing it.

Joining the Davis Ink Team in 2015, Courtney’s capabilities and skills continue to grow on a day-to-day basis. Since joining Davis Ink, she has quickly excelled because of her attention to detail and passion for design. Her technical proficiency and creative input has quickly made her a valuable asset to the team.

Having previously worked for 1.5 years as an interior designer in Philadelphia before joining Davis Ink, Courtney’s portfolio includes multiple restaurant and multi-family projects. While producing this body of work, Courtney’s skill set has expanded to include numerous design tools and procedures.

Courtney has an appetite for all things design that has stemmed from her childhood. She has turned this passion into a reality by attending Pacific Lutheran University where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. She then went on the study at Drexel University where she received a Master of Science in Interior Architecture and Design.

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys the outdoors and being active through running. She has a passion for soccer whether it is playing pickup, going to games or watching it with fellow soccer lovers. Courtney also loves to explore by hiking and camping on the weekends.

Diana is the introvert of the group. She shares Albert Einstein’s philosophy that “Everything that is great and inspiring is created by the individual who can labor in freedom.”

Having always been infatuated by art and an early exposure to furniture design with her family’s business led her to pursue a career in the design world. She earned her degree in Interior design at IDI, in Newport Beach, CA where she was trained to be a responsible, well-informed, skilled professional in the commercial and hospitality field.

Since her start as an intern at Davis Ink she has been quick to learn and hone in on her conceptual and drafting skills.  Her recognition at school paired with her creative spark earned her a spot within the Davis Ink design team.

Her responsibilities include everything from conceptual/project design, CAD drafting and FF&E selections to project management.

When she is not at work you can find her in the comfort of her home playing with her 3 dogs, listening to EDM and sneaking in a few sketches of current projects. As native Southern Californian, though, she does enjoy spending an entire day out on the beach with friends and family.

Paula joined the Davis Ink team at the beginning of 2018. Her passion for commercial design stemmed from her experiences at cool restaurants, bars, and hotels; absorbing the design aspects of the space while being in tune with how it felt to be there.

Having worked 2.5 years in the field prior to joining Davis Ink, her previous projects include hotels, restaurants, and residential projects. Being detail oriented and curious about how things are built makes her a great addition to the team.

Paula recently moved to California from Miami, Florida where she pursued a Bachelor’s Degree at Miami International University of Art & Design. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, going to the beach, camping, being adventurous- like learning how to surf and currently just touristing around California. Overall Paula loves traveling and learning about different cultures and new places.

After her internship the previous summer, Jessica later came back to join the Davis Ink team in early 2018. She first started as an engineering student but was quick to realize that her need for creativity was not being fulfilled. In 2015, she transferred to Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach, where she received her Bachelor of Art in Interior Design. During school, she gained design experience by working in the residential industry and found that commercial design was her true calling.

Jessica contributes her proficient technical skills and creative ideas to the team. Her quirky and spunky personality shines through her design, which complements the “WTF” element of Davis Ink. She is definitely not afraid to use bold patterns and bright colors. At the firm, she continues to grow as a designer by pushing herself to be more innovative and knowledgeable about construction, design, and project management.

When she is not at work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends. As a local of Southern California, she loves finding new, local restaurants and bars.
